Welcome to Progressive Change for Washington!PCWA is being formed by progressive Democrats, Greens and Independents. We are pooling our energies to promote progressive thought and action throughout the State of Washington. We are in the process of forming our statement of purpose, our platform, and our working groups. We are affiliated with the Backbone Campaign (http://www.backbonecampaign.org/). We hope you will join us. We currently have two projects we are working on. One is to help bring clarity to what may have been another stolen presidential election in the United States in 2004 (see our Election Protection page). Second, we have the unique opportunity to bring Ranked Choice Voting, or what is called Instant Runoff Voting, to our voting process in Washington state (see our IRV page). This very important Initiative to the Washington State Legislature, if it becomes law, would allow us to vote our conscience, without concern over wasting our vote or spoiling the chances of a less preferred candidate. We only have until the end of the year to get 200,000 signatures, please join our effort! This website will be a slow build from the ground up. If you have any ideas, please let us know!
